WAND: 12" - Rowan (It was thought to be a magical tree and protection against malevolent beings) - Hippogriff talon.
HISTORY:
The only child of wealthy Muggles, Rowan was thrilled to find out that he was a wizard and slated to go to a school for wizards. His parents however were less thrilled. In fact 'horrified' would be a better description. It took months worth of convincing before they would even consider allowing him to attend Hogwarts.
At school he flourished and did well in most of his studies (with the notable exception of his spectacular failing of Arithmancy and Divination) Started Auror training right out of school and met his wife Margaret in the Ministry building where she worked in the Department of Accidental Magic Reversal. They were happily married for 30+ years until her death on the job three years prior to the start of the third war.
PERSONALITY: Describes himself as 'surly' which is accurate and still a tiny bit of an understatement. He's never one to suffer fools whether they're co-workers, superiors, Ministers of Magic - anyone. Denies any and all rumors regarding a possible 'teddy bear' under his gruff exterior.
